Synopsis: In the Name of the Father centers around the character Michael Stanson. An autistic orphan, Michael, is taken in by a Philadelphia Catholic school when his father is sentenced to death row. Without a family, he gravitates towards the school’s Priest for guidance. Michael is forced to grow up earlier than expected when this trusted predator takes advantage of his authority. Michael, as an adult, is given the chance to confront the same persuasive Priest that violated him, in an effort to stop the cycle of abuse.
